Brain and skull section

The ventricular system of the brain: lateral ventricles, third and fourth ventricles and the cerebral aqueduct.
Cerebrospinal fluid is produced by the choroid plexuses in the ventricles and flows from the lateral ventricles through the interventricular foramina into the third ventricle, then through the cerebral aqueduct into the fourth ventricle. From there it reaches the subarachnoid space and is reabsorbed into the venous sinuses.
