Brain
Brain and skull section

The brain with its vascular supply: the internal carotid and vertebral arteries, the cerebral arterial circle and the cerebral veins.
The anterior, middle and posterior cerebral arteries arise from the cerebral arterial circle (circle of Willis), which connects the internal carotid and vertebrobasilar systems at the base of the brain. The superficial and deep cerebral veins drain into the dural venous sinuses, which lead to the internal jugular veins.
